The Academic Management Professionals (AMP) is an organization of staff administrative and financial officers within teaching, research, service, and administrative units and those who aspire to these positions at the University of California, Riverside (UCR). Our objectives are to:

• To provide a forum for discussion and resolution of common concerns among UCR AMP membership

• To foster effective communication among teaching, research, service and administrative managers and professionals at UCR

• To offer opportunities for professional staff development, to expand their skills and knowledge to enhance job competency/performance and improve their competitiveness for mid-level management and leadership positions

• To nurture an environment for professional networking, building community and collaboration with campus partners where appropriate (Staff Assembly, LEAD, BFASA, etc.)

• To encourage and support a campus climate that honors and respects diversity, equity and inclusion
